Welcome
to Gascoyne Online (The Gascoyne Portal)
Gascoyne Online aims to provide
you with a fast way to find out
about the information and services that caters to the needs of
the Gascoyne Region. The portal is intended to guide you to the
information you need from one easy-to-use hub, so just click on
the menu and have a look around.
You will find that the information
on the portal is arranged into 8 key entry points: Business, Community,
Education, Government,
Health, Tourism, Cultural and Youth.
These key entry points will
cover a range of information of relevant services and content to
the community.
The Gascoyne region is at a pivotal point. Tourism
is expected to drive future growth and communications infrastructure
is rapidly
catching up to that available in capital cities. Whilst it is recognised
that some information is currently available online, significant
information gaps still exist for the community, local business
and outside parties such as tourists or organisations wanting to
do business in the area. The objective of the portal is to fill
these gaps and continue to do so as information needs in the region
evolve.
Gascoyne Online will be developed in Stages. Stage 1 of
Gascoyne Online is to provide an essential information resource for
the
region as well as external stakeholders. This is to encompass the
following target groups:
> Community: Provide relevant services and content to the community.
>
Local Business: Provide relevant business development opportunities
and advice to local business.
>
Tourism and Business Development: Market the region to
external parties i.e., businesses and tourists.
If your interest
and business lies in the Gascoyne, this site
is for you.
